eCopy software transforms e-STUDIO digital copiers into comprehensive paper management solutions.  In addition to printing, copying, scanning and faxing, users can easily scan documents directly into their enterprise content management (ECM) systems, Fax Server, or e-mail system for more efficient business processes and improved document security.  eCopy’s application connectors provide native integration and operate as clients of the enterprise application server providing the same look and feel at the copier as the applications operating on the desktop.  It also extends authentication and user rights to protect against unauthorized users and provides a comprehensive audit trail for regulatory compliance.


Re-Rite provides automatic optical character recognition (OCR), data conversion and document distribution from Toshiba e-STUDIO MFPs with the touch of a single button.  Re-Rite converts hardcopy scanned images, incoming routed fax messages, or POP3 Email messages into searchable, editable application file formats, and then distributes the converted files to a shared network folder, email address, FTP site or combinations.  There are seventeen file formats that Re-Rite will convert images to and 29 languages for OCR support.  A single license supports an unlimited number of e-STUDIO devices and an unlimited number of users on a network.
 
The BarCodeJet is an external device that attaches to the e-STUDIO MFP via Ethernet that prints Barcodes with little or no set-up on the printing device and no programming required.  The BarCodeJet formats barcodes automatically from checking incoming data and calculating checksums, to printing text under or above the bars.  BarCodeJet is SAP Certified! It independently scales barcodes both horizontally and vertically on the fly.  No configuration is necessary on the server.  The BarCodeJet encodes the existing data directly from the print stream.  It is 100% compatible with HP’s Barcode 3of9 from the “Barcodes and More” font product.

Castelle FaxPress
Castelle network fax servers are a complete hardware and software solution designed to provide an unlimited number of users the ability to send and receive faxes directly from applications, various emailenvironments and over the internet.  FaxPress, FaxPress Premier and FaxPress Enterprise save time for the user by eliminating the multi-step, multi-location process of sending and receiving faxes. Integrating a FaxPress fax server with Toshiba multifunction products provides users the additional capability of scanning to fax.

Digital StoreFront
Digital Storefront (DSF) extends a print center’s ability to provide new levels of customer services with a full-featured, robust, interactive Intranet and/or Internet presence that is conveniently available 24/7 from any location. Large-scale print operations will benefit from Digital Storefront by enabling more control of the print environment, monitor job revenue and costs, and provide standardized as well as custom print services, all from an easy-to-use web-based interface.



DocForm is an easy-to-use Variable Data Printing software program that allows the flexible development of computer generated forms and reports stemming from a host computer system and printing to Toshiba LAN devices allowing the user to leverage the finishing capabilities of those devices.  DocForm also allows one to one marketing messages based on content data and utilizing its conditional logic capability.  Output may be distributed to printers, facsimile machines, email or archives.  There are additional modules to incorporate signature pad and tablet PC technology.  DOCRECORD may be added to seamlessly index and archive documents processed by DocForm.

EXCELLIPRINT
ExcelliPrint allows AFP/IPDS print files to be printed on Toshiba e-STUDIO products.  ExcelliPrint runs on Windows NT-based computers and accepts IPDS print requests from iSeries and zSeries computers over TCP/IP networks and converts the print stream into PDF, GDI or PCL for output to either a printer or a file.  ExcelliPrint runs as a Windows service and includes IBM iSeries device management, spooled file management and allows for multiple ports listening for simultaneous print requests.  Primary features include:  driver independent printing, print-to-file archiving, and support for multiple output devices, browser-based interface, secure web interface and role-based administration.
iDriver is a native AS/400 print driver that offers formatting and finishing controls to Toshiba e-STUDIO products.  iDriver is installed on the AS/400 and communicates directly with the e-STUDIO product without the need for intermediate print queues.  iDriver can be set up to act automatically, as an API or in a manual mode. 

 
DocSystem is an intuitive, easy-to-use software solution for quickly implementing advanced print, distributed print, departmental workflow requirements and advanced image processing rules established by the user on an intuitive graphic user interface.  DocSystem competes in the same space as products costing thousands more and DocSystem does not require extensive training.  Rules-based printing and image processing made simple and inexpensive.  

DocTransform is a powerful and easy-to-use solution that is designed to fix the problems of, and adapt a wide range, of data and print streams.  It allows users to print documents in the format of their choice on all e-STUDIO devices or digitally archive them into a wide variety of document and content management programs.  DocTransform is the single software tool that can always be used to get files to print correctly on a new printer or MFP device. Printing can be performed from any software application or host system even when complex print streams or unique finishing features are required.

RPM REMOTE PRINT MANAGER
RPM Remote Print Manager is a low-cost software program that allows data to be printed from host computers in ASCII or UNIX environments to Toshiba e-STUDIO products leveraging the finishing functions of the devices.  RPM is a software program that acts as a print queue and directs the print stream, with the attendant finishing commands to the e-STUDIO product.
 


Print Audit provides the means to monitor printing, copying, scanning and facsimile transmissions to enable companies to analyze, reduce and recover hardcopy and equipment usage costs.  All printers including network, IP and locally connected can be monitored.  Print jobs can be redirected to more appropriate devices based on usage, role and volume parameters.


  
DocuWare is a simple to learn, install, train, and operate Integrated Document Management software product.  All documents reside in a single document pool and are able to synchronize with remote databases.  The graphic user interface is very intuitive and is metaphorically similar to actual file cabinets, in-boxes and document processes.  Digital Signature and time stamps are available for workflow purposes.  May interface directly with an Oracle database.
 
ABBYY FormReader 6.5 offers organizations a fast-deployment and cost-effective solution for extracting information from paper forms and converting the data into digital format.  FormReader’s built-in form/template designers help reduce efforts in form definition and increase machine readability and data recognition. A user-friendly interface, including “Scan&Read”, guides users through the steps of form processing -- scanning, template matching, recognition, verification and export.  FormReader 6.5 will utilize OCR, ICR, OMR and Barcode Recognition to recognize all possible techniques for data input on paper forms.

 
ABBYY FineReader is a state-of-the-art Optical Character Recognition software program.  FineReader allows the copier, via the scanner, to read scanned or electronic images and convert the ASCII data into application file formats with outstanding document layout retention.  FineReader comes in a standalone as well as a network version with concurrent licensing.

Questys Text and Image Management Systems is an integrated program used to input, process, store and retrieve millions of documents and electronic files. Regardless of the number of documents on file, Questys will retrieve documents within one second.  Once the file is retrieved it can easily be printed, faxed or emailed.  Files can be annotated and manipulated while leaving the basic file undisturbed.  Flexible file organization and security are standard with Questys.  In addition to the base module, Questys offers optional modules for automated file creation, workflow processing, web access and royalty-free searchable CD creation.
ENCOMPASS
Encompass is a rigorous methodology developed by Toshiba to analyze end user’s document management and output requirements and infrastructure. Based on Six Sigma principles, the Encompass methodology is used by trained Toshiba Document Solutions professionals to present the client with an Encompass Document Analysis report to quantify the true total cost of ownership of document imaging devices.

The basis of the Encompass program is Encompass-web, a Toshiba-developed web application that enables collaborative data input and analysis on behalf of customer sites around the country. The Encompass-web database incorporates information about virtually every copier, printer and fax machine produced in the last 12 years together with detailed information about customer usage, workflow and office environments to create a highly-detailed and accurate picture of current document-related spending and related activities.
